Supplier Diversity Business Development
AT&T has a team of Supplier Diversity Business
Development Managers that assist current and potential diversity
suppliers in identifying and developing business opportunities within
the company. These managers work with suppliers to ensure requirements
and standards are clearly communicated so that diversity suppliers are
successful in our complex and ever-evolving telecommunications and
entertainment supply chain.
Internally, the Supplier Diversity team partners with
AT&T's Global Strategic Sourcing team to ensure minority-, women-, and
disabled veteran owned enterprises are given the opportunity to fully
participate in the company's business. A portfolio management approach
is used to ensure diversity businesses are considered in all aspects of
AT&T's supply chain. The portfolio includes prime suppliers,
prospective and incumbent diverse suppliers, major spend projects, and
future product and services.
